Who goes to a concert of Rammstein, knows what it's going to find:
A strong and cativating attitude, a heavy noise and an imponent and full scene
of effect pyrotechnics. Plus that, join a high rhythm and extreme dose of
adrenalin.
The concert of this tuesday - the first one of the band in the Atlantic Pavilion
at Lisbon, did'nt run away from the rule, leaving satisfied about twelve
thousand fans who had fulled the house, but is inevitable the terms of
comparison with the previous tickets of the band for Portugal...
After a triunfal entrance (in the beginning of the show, some men appeared on
stage with lanterns, leading many to think that they would be finally in
presence of the band. When the lanterns extinguished and the cloth behind fell,
we could see an upper stage where were the true stars of the night), Rammstein
started the two hours concert, with "Reise, Reise", the song that gives the name
to the album that serves of base to the current European Tour.
"234 Links" and "Feuer Freil" had followed the alignment, with the known subject
of the soundtrack of the "Triple X" movie to serve of excuse for the openning
act of fire on stage, for delight and contentment of the public. It is mentioned,
by the way, that always that the flames took account of the show mobiles
phoneswould appear in the air to capture the moment.
Moments like that catched a big positive energy. Like in
case of "Du Riechst So Gut", "Du Hast" (one of the more applauded songs of the
night), "Sonne" (duly folloied for the chronological counting) and "Amerika" (shiningly
received for the public). As single of "Reise, Reise" still presented a scene
spotted of blue and served for the launching of red and white confetis all
around the pavillion.
After constant alternations between normal and upper stage (let us identify the
two floors where the band was, as the exception of the drummer, who went down
only for some minutes) and the constant use of the fire, duly folloied by one
show of light to match, Rammstein said farewell for the first time to the public,
who answered in unisonous with the name of the band.
One hour and a half later, was concluded the first part of the show, returning
the band for two encores , distributed for three songs, respectively. In this
lot, prominence for "Rammstein", "Stripped" and "Engel" and for the already
traditional scene of the rubber boat floating around the public.
The gratefulness of the band (in one of the few verbal messages directly to the
public) and the uprising of the Portuguese flag had been the two last images
that had remained of a concert with very positive note to evaluate for the
reaction of the public.

IN EUROPE
The new Rammstein album "Reise, Reise"
has gone straight into the Top 10 charts throughout Europe after its
release. According to the Billboard charts from last week, Rammstein
are now the most successful German-language band of all time
worldwide & "Reise, Reise" is the best selling album in Europe!
Number 1 in the charts:
Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Mexico, Iceland, and Estonia.
Number 2: Sweden, Netherlands.
Number 3: France, Czech Republic, Denmark.
Number 4: Norway, Poland, Slovenia.
Number 5: Belgium.
Number 6: Portugal.

"Amerika": The Single
|
|
"Amerika", the second single from the new Rammstein Album, will be released on September 13, 2004 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The international release will follow on October 4, 2004. A full list of when it will be released in which countries will be available soon.
The video for Amerika has been on TV in Germany since August 20, 2004 and will also be shown internationally on the various music-video channels starting on September 13, 2004.

VIDEO PREMIERE "MEIN TEIL"
On Friday, July 9, 2004 at 4:01 pm,
the premiere of the video from the new RAMMSTEIN single
"Mein Teil" will take place simultaneously on MTV and VIVA
(Germany).
In the FanArea the video premiere will take place on Thursday, July 8, 2004 at
8:00 pm.

There are new official releases dates for the first single of the upcoming Rammstein album: 'Mein Teil' will be released on July 26, 2004 in GSA (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), and the international release will follow on August 30, 2004. As soon as we know exactly in which countries the single will be released, we will provide you with a list.
